Before founding Persistent Recruiting, Janka served as a Principal/Healthcare Executive Recruiter at an executive search firm, where she played a pivotal role in developing a successful Retained Search practice. She earned a strong reputation for her integrity, authenticity, and unwavering work ethic, establishing herself as a trusted expert in talent acquisition. She has successfully executed searches across various functional areas, including marketing, sales, operations, finance, IT, clinical affairs, R&D, supply chain, QA, and RA, placing mid to senior-level executives nationally and internationally.
Throughout her career, Janka has successfully placed executives across diverse functional areas, including commercial (marketing and sales), product management, operations, HR/TA, finance, R&D, clinical affairs, IT, supply chain & manufacturing, and QA & RA. Specializing in mid- and top-management roles, she has worked with a wide range of organizations, from startups to large corporations, including Private Equity-owned and publicly traded companies, both nationally and internationally.

In her previous role as a Talent Acquisition Specialist at First Data, Janka contributed to the success of Central Europe’s ‘Performance First’ project, further honing her ability to manage complex HR challenges and deliver results.
Janka’s drive for improvement brought her to the United States from Slovakia in 2008. Her ability to adapt quickly to new markets and cultures enhanced her professional expertise and resilience. At an Atlanta-based IT Recruitment & Consulting firm, Janka played a key role in the company’s success, helping it triple its placement rates by identifying, qualifying, and representing top IT talent.
Janka holds a Master’s degree in Social Sciences and has advanced training in Human Resource Management. Outside work, she is an avid runner passionate about traveling and exploring new cultures.
